"There will never be another" as stated by Captain McNaught in his brief comments at the Captain's Cocktail Party while on the Farewell to the British Isles cruise. His love for the ship is clearly obvious.

I believe he he couldnt continue with cunard as his love for qe2 was shattered when she was retired. Nothing else could compare to what he loved.

I always found Mcnaught to be a very friendly man who made time to talk to his passengers. I had hoped he would have been made commodore and I think it was disgraceful of Cunard not to give him the new QE knowing what a popular capatain he was.
